Summary
The Fleet Clerk handles various aspects of simple to complex procurement activities, and interacts with various departments, ensuring that all necessary materials and services are procured to support Fleet needs.
Responsibilities
- Under general supervision, input and maintain vehicle data for multiple sites into Fleet’s information system and other applicable databases.
- Coordinate and process new vehicle setup and vehicle disposal as it pertains to the title & registration, insurance cards, fuel cards, & EZ Pass.
- Prepare and monitor various spreadsheets and reports as it pertains to daily Fleet operations.
- Assist with budget preparation, invoice reconciliation, vehicle disposal process, and other Fleet related clerical functions as needed.
- With management approval, execute purchase orders and credit card transactions up to $5,000, expedite delivery of services, fuel and vehicle related transactions as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to type and operate various office machines
- Ability to communicate both in written and oral form
- Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer software
Education, Experience and Certifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2 years of related experience in similar job duties
