Developmental Intern - Electrical Engineering

Location: White Plains, NY, US

This select 12-week paid Internship program begins June 2019 and ends August 2019.



The Electrical Engineering intern will work on the following projects:

1. Standardizing Power System Equipment technical specification project:
Support the process of standardizing the technical specifications for each power system equipment by integrating applicable IEEE and other industry standards.

2. Niagara LPGP TLEM project:
Closely work with Senior Engineer to support ongoing LPGP TLEM.

The intern will develop engineering skills by assisting Senior Engineer on the assigned projects and the efforts contributes towards streamlining technical standards for the organization.

  • Will gain a general knowledge of electric power system - power generation and transmission areas.



  • WIll learn Technical - Electrical Engineering background - understanding of electrical theory and power system, ability to perform basic electrical analysis, calculations and strong analytical skills.



  • Will gain initiative and flexibility to changing project requirements, priorities and assignments.  

Education, Experience and Certifications


Technical Competencies:

  • General knowledge of Electrical Engineering theory and its application in different areas of power systems
  • high proficiency using software tools

Education Background:

  • Pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree required (3rd year completed).
