Developmental Intern - Fuel Supply Management

Location: White Plains, NY, US

This select 12-week paid internship program begins June 2019 and ends August 2019.

Summary

Intern will assist gas buyer in contacting the Local Distribution Company (LDC) daily to obtain pipeline capacity. The intern will work closely with NYPA gas buyer and gas scheduler to receive/relay information regarding spot purchases and sales. Intern will be asked to input critical data into Pipeline Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB), LDC EBB, and Fuel Management System (FMS) on a time sensitive basis. All tasks performed by intern will support the fuel requirements of NYPA's generators in NYC and Long Island.

Education Background:

  • Junior or Senior studying BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Math
