Summary
Provides efficient and cost-effective office support operations to the NYPA enterprise. Ensures NYPA information assets are protected, accessible and supports business needs.
Provides administrative support services that include scheduling meetings, managing calendar, expense reports and making travel arrangements. Coordinates presentations and gathers materials for scheduled meetings. Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties. Contacts company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports. Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature.
Responsibilities
- Assist with moderately complex and varied administrative tasks.
- Collect and format data to create and prepare presentations and reports.
- Supports manager, department staff members or others with various administrative tasks such as, scheduling, preparing documents and meeting materials.
- May work with internal stakeholders to develop and manage content for business-related intranet sites.
- Assist with coordinating projects and initiatives across the business unit.
- Track project timelines, coordinate scheduling and prepare project reports for projects led by the manager.
- With guidance conduct research (quantitative & qualitative) of business issues.
- Coordinate and plan logistics and agendas for department or Business Unit meetings.

- Software and computer skills to perform moderately complex tasks.
Education, Experience and Certifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate required.
- May require certifications and licensures needed to meet Energy industry, federal, state, or local regulations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Up to 10% travel primarily within New York State.
- Ability to sit at desk for long duration of time.

The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates’ relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
