Procurement Governance Coordinator

Summary

The Center of Excellence pillar of the Strategic Supply Management department requires a Procurement Governance Coordinator to assist in quality assurance and compliance activities resulting in increased accuracy of contract data and minimization of manual efforts associated therewith.  #LI-VB1

Responsibilities

  • Perform comparisons of contract data subsets. 
  • Support contract management functions including documentation collection, advertising, and filing.
  • Run standard reports and review and act upon data issues 
  • Work with technology team to design and produce standard and ad hoc reports 
  • Maintain processes and procedures.
  • Work with Category Management and Supplier Relationship on contract management issues, as necessary.

  • Highly collaborative, self-starter. 
  • Organized, attention to detail. 
  • Able to schedule workday to see tasks through to completion in a timely manner.
  • Able to perform tasks as directed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. 

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • Associate degree or Seven years of work experience, or combination of education and experience 
  • Experience in the Utilities industry – Preferred.
  • Proficiency with tools such as MS Excel, SharePoint, and other office products - Preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Approximately 5% travel within NY State
