Smart Street Lighting NY Program Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Operate multiple street lighting maintenance databases of all LED street lighting systems being maintained
  • Issue, track and closeout work orders to maintenance contractors.
  • Manage contracts and invoices for customers and vendors.
  • Generate customer update reports on outages, repairs, and emergency response events.
  • Support the Business Development and Project Implementation teams by hosting educational informational workshops/webinars for customers and attending board meetings. 
  • Quality control existing maintenance contractor pool by doing site inspections and customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Regularly attend and facilitate project kickoff meetings and project closeout meetings to transition the project from the implementation phase to the maintenance phase of the project.
     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong ability to deliver engaging, informative, well organized presentations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to learn new systems and technologies .
  • Ability to think strategically, to proactively understand customer needs, and to provide solutions to overcome obstacles .
  • Ability to maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies like advanced controls and the impact to current and future customer needs . 
  • Knowledge of energy services, energy efficiency, and utility energy efficiency programs is preferred.
  • Knowledge of project financing models including cash flow, ROI, and IRR based on utility tariffs is preferred.
     

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related Sustainability discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience required, 
  • Project management experience is preferred.
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation, Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or Lighting Certified (LC) is preferred.
  • Experience using Primavera and Maximo is preferred.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Approximately 20% travel primarily within NY State
